Continued Education

There will come a point in your diving life that you will decide if you will continue to dive for yourself or if you will dive for others. This is where one steps into technical and/or profesional diving. Although divemaster course is available with us this page is dedicated to recreational diving only, that solid base you want to perfect before moving on to that fork in the road.

Specialties

Specialties vary in content, number of dives required for certification and performance requirements. They include themes such as perfect buoyancy, search and recovery, night dive, deep diver, nitrox, react right, and many others. Some may be non-diving specialties while others can require up to 4 dives. Skills for different specialty courses can be done on the same dive.

Advanced adventurer

This course is equivalent to wat many of the other certification agencies call Advanced Open Water. It coinsists of 5 specialty dives including deep diver

Advanced Open Water

Under the SSI system an advanced diver is someone who has some dives and training under their belt. This is why an advanced rating is earned automatically once one has completed 4 specialty courses and logged at least 24 dives.
